About Me

Dr. Randi Roth is a Clinical Psychologist and psychoanalyst specializing in individual, couples, child and adolescent psychotherapy and maintains a private practice in Westport, CT and Scarsdale, NY.

With over 23 years experience she is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are depression, anxiety,marital and couples therapy,  eating disorders, parenting issues, divorce adjustment and transition, work and school related difficulties.

Dr. Randi Roth  is an interactive therapist who employs a variety of techniques to address current struggles and symptoms as well as underlying psychological, unconscious conflicts.  Each individual therapy is unique and tailored to the needs and goals of each client.    With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to achieving.

Education:   Dr. Roth earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania in 1982.   She has a M.A. in Developmental Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University 1983.   She earned her Ph.D. in 1991 from Long Island University.  Dr. Roth obtained Post-Doctoral training in Psychoanalysis from the Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy from 1995-1999.

License, Certifications & Awards:     Dr. Roth is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in CT and NY.

Additional Training:       Dr. Roth obtained Post-Doctoral training in Psychoanalysis at the Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy fom 1995-1999.   She also completed the Supervisory Training Program at WCSPP in 2011 and is a supervisor of psychotherapists. Dr. Roth also has training as a Collaborative Divorce Coach.  She has training in Focusing, a technique incorporating relaxation training and sensory attunement. 
Professional Activities and Memberships:     Dr. Roth was the Associate Director of the Treatment Service of WCSPP from 2006-2008.   She has been a member of CCDM, the Connecticut Council for Divorce Mediation and CDCT, the Collaborative Divorce Team of CT.  She has training in Divorce Coaching and in this capacity ha shelped couples negotiate the divorce process in a non-destructive and child-centered manner.
